Hey all,
I am catching up on things here on board the R.F. Lucidity. Seeing as I have been ill, and then had to battle hackers, things got a bit behind.
I need tunes to keep me going. I made this playlist today on spotify, my Pow-pop-glam list. This is going to help me get through the day.
I wanted to share with those of you that have Spotify accounts. Hope you enjoy!
Any playlists you would like to share? If so, leave the link in the comments.
Cheers
I have been creating new loops online as part of my new creation experiments. Here are some of the loops. Feel free to use these loops, all created in Aviary, in your music. It would be cool for attribution, but it is not necessary.
As soon as my web only experiment is over, I will start posting instrument loops as well. For now, it is web only synth based. Hope you enjoy!
**edit**I had to put a link as the embeds from Aviary do not work well. Click on the link above and press play on the eggs to hear the loops once you get to the site. Nothing is perfect I guess.
As I said in a previous post, the internet is big. Really big. Not as big as the Universe and stuff, but still pretty large. In this big internet
one person’s celebrity can be another’s complete unkown. This post drives that home for me as the subject, Austin Kleon, was unknown to me before today. However, he is not unknown to many on the web. I am now happy that I have joined this other group as Austin seems to ooze awesome sauce.
Check out this presentation, “How to Steal Like an Artist (And 9 Other Things Nobody Told me)” on his page to see what I mean. If this page does not inspire you to do something, anything, then you may need a check up. This is the most inspirational thing I have read in a while.
It is cool that this comes as I am in the process of breaking out of my self-imposed and not too bright exile from most things creative and awesome. It is funny how life tends to send you messages when you are ready and open to the ideas expressed within. Sort of like a convergence that happens. Sort of like an “Aha” moment, but bigger.
Of course, that idea of convergence, for lack of a better word, will be another post all together.
By the way, the 6th episode of RfL Animated Adventures is in preproduction and I am sending out a casting call for the role of a gym manager that will interview Lester for a job interview. If you are interested, drop me a line, or leave a comment.
I can work with anyone that has the ability to record the part. I can also work with you to get set up for recording.
Cheers,
Eban
